Fuchsine Acid BS Grade Reagent
Cas Number:3244-88-0
Formula: C20H17N3Na2O9S3
Molar Mass:585.55
EC Number:221-816-5
Physicochemical properties:
Dark metallic powder of green metallic luster or olive to dark olive green coarse powder or small pieces. It is a mixture of sodium sulfonate (RosAnilin E) disulfonate sodium salt and sodium trisulfonate sodium salt, ammonium salt. 1g can be dissolved in 7 ml of water and it is slightly soluble in ethanol. The dilute aqueous solution is purple-red, and the extremely dilute aqueous solution (1:10000) is dropped into the concentrated sodium hydroxide solution to fade, but the concentrated hydrochloric acid does not fade. The red to colorless pH is 12-14.
Usage:
Calibrate free chlorine. Biological stain, connective tissue staining. pH indicator.
Packing:
