Physicochemical properties:
White powder or colorless crystals. Odorless. Tasteless. There are two kinds of crystals, one is orthogonal crystal aragonite, and the other is hexagonal rhombohedral crystal calcite. It decomposes into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide at about 825 °C. Soluble in dilute acid, almost insoluble in water. Aragonite: the relative density is 2.83,the melting point is 825 ° C (decomposition). Calcite: the relative density (d25.2) is 2.711, the melting point is 1339 ° C (10.39 MPa). Irritating.
Usage:
The halogen in the organic compound reaction is assayed and determined. Water analysis. Verify phosphorus. Decompose the silicate together with ammonium chloride. A calcium chloride solution is prepared to standardize the soap. Manufacturing optical glass-lined materials.
