White crystals. An equal mixture of L- and D-tartaric acid. Its solubility in ethanol (g/100g)is: 2.006 (0 ° C), 3.153 (15 ° C), 5.01 (25 ° C), 6.299 (40 ° C). There is also one molecule of crystal water. Its solubility in water (g / 100g)is: 14.00 (10 ° C), 20.60 (20 ° C), 29.10 (30 ° C), 43.32 (40 ° C), 99.88 (70 ° C).
