Physicochemical properties：

White crystals or granules. The crystal water will lose at about 120 °C. It can be dissolved in 3 parts cold water, 1.5 parts boiling water and it is insoluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is slightly alkaline to the litmus, pH 7-9. The relative density is 1.818.

Usage:

Calibration Karl Fischer reagent. The vanadium is determined by spot analysis. Masking agent.
