Physicochemical properties:
Colorless clear liquid with micro-ethanoly odour. volatile. It is easy to flow. Smokeless with a blue flame when burning. It can form the azeotrope with a variety of compounds. It is miscible with water, ethanol, ether, benzene, ketones and other organic solvents. It can dissolve a variety of inorganic salts such as sodium iodide, calcium chloride, ammonium nitrate, copper sulfate, silver nitrate, ammonium chloride and sodium chloride.
Usage:
Separate calcium sulfate and magnesium sulfate. The bromide of ruthenium and osmium is separated by mixing with isobutanol. Inspect and measure boron. Solvent. Organically synthesized methylating agent. antifreeze. Leaching agent. Extracting agent. detergent. Thinner. Dehydrating agent.
