Colorless monoclinic crystal or white crystalline powder. It is stable in the air and dissolved in about 12 parts of cold water, 3 parts of boiling water, slightly soluble in ethanol. The solution is acidic. The pH of the 0.05 mol/L aqueous solution at 25 ° C is 4.005. The relative density (d254) is 1.636. The melting point is 295 ~ 300 ° C (decomposition).
