Silver Oxide 99.7% AR Grade Reagent
Cas Number:20667-12-3
Formula: Ag2O
Molar Mass:231.74
EC Number:243-957-1
Physicochemical properties:
Brownish black heavy powder. Odorless. When heated to 200 ° C, decomposition begins, and decomposition accelerates at 250 to 300 ° C. Wet silver oxide readily absorbs carbon dioxide. It can be reduced by hydrogen, carbon monoxide and most metals. It can soluble in dilute nitric acid, ammonia, cyanide alkali solution and sodium thiosulfate solution, and slightly soluble in sodium hydroxide solution, almost insoluble in water and ethanol. The relative density (d254)is 7.22.
Usage:
Analytical reagents. Catalyst. Water purifying agent. Colorant. Organic synthesis. Electronic device materials. Glass industry.
Packing:
500g/25kg
