Styrene 99% CP Grade Reagent
Cas Number:100-42-5
Formula: C8H8
Molar Mass:104.15
EC Number:202-851-5
Physicochemical properties:
Colorless to light yellow oily liquid with fragrant odour. High refractive index. It is gradually oxidized and polymerized into a thick or transparent solid by heat or exposure to light or air. An explosion may occur due to an increase in temperature during the polymerization. Hydroquinone or tert-butyl catechol (0.0002% to 0.002%) is often added as a stabilizer to delay the polymerization. Soluble in ethanol, ether, methanol, acetone and carbon disulfide.
Usage:
Electron microscopy analysis. Organic Synthesis. Manufacture of plastics, rubber, resins, etc.
Packing:
500ml/25L/200L
