Physicochemical properties:
Red with blue or reddish brown powder. It is soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether. The concentrated aqueous solution is dark brown red, the dilute solution (1:500) is orange with green fluorescence, and the ethanol solution has strong green fluorescence. The maximum absorption wavelength is 517 nm. Low toxicity, half lethal dose (mouse, oral) 2344mg/kg.
